Video Game Testing Scams
Whenever you hear about a job being accessible over the internet or something that you do at home, everybody can easily coin the term scam, deceit, lie, or my personal favorite: Shamble. Not that I object to such reasonings when there are jobs floating around the internet like filling out surveys for money. I still have to act as the antithesis, me being someone who braved the front and decidedly signed up with one of those programs, and had nothing but success. Success, not so much easily made accessible through signing up, because I admit it took nothing but hard work to really see results. Still, people are very quick to judge and dismiss these success stories saying that these programs don't work because of the simple induction that the internet is nothing but one giant scam.
As I said before I am a person who has had success signing up with a game testing company. I paid the subscription fee, I was skeptical, and I worked hard. I couldn't even call the work hard, It is more along the lines of confidence within your work. I have talked to people on forums who have signed up with these game tester programs saying that they are a scam. If I inquire as to why they are a scam. They usually tell me that it wasn't what they had expected. That is why I am writing this article.
A lot of people think that signing up with these companies means you get a xbox 360 game to test the day after. That is sadly not how it works, although it is loosely called a job it is still definitely a job. Some people fear the idea of calling and talking to another human being just to get their next game. Some people don't fully grasp that there is more to this job. I have balls of fun (big balls) doing this job, especially compared to other jobs I could have instead.
To wrap things up, don't listen to people talking either way about how jobs may or may not be a scam. Usually the opportunities are dirt cheap so just try them for yourself. And don't consider them a scam if you find that there is too much work involved. I even know somebody legitimately making money from filling out surveys. She makes nearly 100 dollars a day. And as I said before that is one of the bigger scams on the internet, I don't even know where she found that opportunity.
